Each Blooming Grove Academy classroom reflects
the personality of the teacher and students. Classrooms are colorful
and filled with many engaging projects, children’s artwork,
and a wealth of educational resources. Early Learner classrooms are
arranged with block areas, art areas, dramatic play areas, computers,
etc. Elementary classrooms have tables for groups or individual students
to work and carpeted areas for more informal instruction and activities.
The
playground is often filled with happy, smiling children who are excited
about an outdoor recess! The playground is a large fenced area east
of the building with equipment on which children play. We offer:

On cold or rainy days the students enjoy indoor recess in one of two gyms. The gyms are equipped with bikes, balls, basketball hoops, floor hockey equipment, large plastic building blocks, and other large motor materials. Blooming Grove Academy makes special arrangements with Swim America for Elementary students to use the indoor swimming pool for selective classes.
Blooming Grove Academy has its own in-house library. The library has over 4000 books and other resources. The library is on-line for student and faculty research. Each class goes to the library at least weekly to check out books and enjoy story time.
In addition to computers in each classroom, Blooming Grove Academy has a computer lab equipped with twelve computer stations with word processing capabilities and educational software.
